Also known as: Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus
A type of diabetes where your body doesn't make or use insulin well. This leads to too much glucose in your blood, leading to serious problems with your heart, eyes, kidneys, nerves, and gums and teeth.
Type 2 diabetes is the most common, most often occurring in adults.
